I take great
pleasure in thanking all club members for their kindness and
generosity towards the students of the Kuşadası
School for the Disabled. The club has now raised a total of
TL 23,465; this money has been used to provide so many basic
amenities without which the opening of the new school premises would
have been delayed considerably. Additionally, club members have
donated their free time and services in other ways, organising,
cleaning and soliciting donations from local businesses.
I give
special thanks to our club committee, ably chaired by Robin
(Committee Chairman), and supported by Jakki (Treasurer), Marcia
(Webmaster), and Courtney, (our youngest member who helps with the
evenings functions). Without their dedicated hard work the club
would be a very different place to be. Their efforts are made
without recompense, only dedication to the club.
Most of all I
thank the individual members of the club, whose kindness and
generosity enable us to make the school donations. Without their
support there could be no club.
I give
special thanks to Pooch (Christine Bedford) – This club session she
personally donated TL900 to the school. Well done Pooch!

club member need help, advice or assistance during the summer recess
then please don’t hesitate to come and see me; I’m sure we can help
